Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lume (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating laws; infringing others' rights; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorized access; or using the Service to generate unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Plans, usage, and billing
The Service offers a free plan and paid plans. The free plan includes the editor and code completion; AI chat and agent features require paid balance on the account (a subscription, a one-month plan, or a purchased usage package). Paid features are billed as described at checkout. Usage is metered by model requests. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our billing policy.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the code and content you provide. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (for example, transmitting your input to a model to return a result). You are responsible for having the rights to the content you submit.
5. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. AI output may be inaccurate — review it before use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lume is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the prior 12 months.
6. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the Service; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
